- Hardness is 57-59 HRC and heat-treated by Paul Bos Heat Treating

Yes, you could.
Any chance of applewood handles and a stainless style blade like the original. I run a small wilderness medicine and survival business and would love to have one as an instruction tool for use in the field with my students.
